Abstract authors
Accepted abstract authors will be required to present in-person at New Zealand International Convention Centre (NZICC) as part of the meeting. If the meeting format requires a change to online delivery, authors will be required to present in an online capacity.
ePOsters
During the ASM, ePosters can be viewed as follows:
- On the ePoster screens in the healthcare industry exhibition, Hall 1 & 2, level 5, NZICC
- Via the mobile app
- Via the ANZCA ASM onDemand platform from 13 May 2026
Information for authors accepted to submit an ePoster display only
The following information is for authors who have been accepted to submit an ePoster (display only) for the ASM.
An ePoster template is provided for authors and must be used when creating your ePoster. The template and ePoster style guide can be downloaded from the ‘presentation template gallery’ (located at the bottom of this page).
Important:
- Your ePoster must be a single slide only in portrait format (i.e. 9:16).
- Your ePoster must be created using the supplied template.
- The ePoster guidelines provide suggested layout, text sizes and fonts.
- Animated text is not supported.
- Review the ePoster style guide.
A personalised email will be sent to the author of all accepted ePoster submission on Wednesday 8 April, inviting you to upload your ePoster online. The deadline for uploading is Wednesday 22 April.
Please note: It is now an ANZCA requirement that any conflict of interest or use of AI related to your presentation in disclosed on your ePoster. If any reproduced work is included in your presentation, you must acknowledge the original author(s).
We’re pleased to advise that videos (without sound) may be included in your ePoster.
Information for authors accepted for fast take presentations
The following information is for authors confirmed as presenting in the fast take presentation sessions. Authors will speak to their ePoster on a digital screen during tea breaks on Saturday, Sunday or Monday in the CSL Behring Education Hub (located in 301, level 3, NZICC).
An ePoster template is provided for authors and must be used when creating your ePoster. The template and ePoster style guide can be downloaded from the ‘presentation template gallery’ (located at the bottom of this page).
Important:
- Your ePoster must be a single slide only.
- Your ePoster must be created using the supplied template.
- The ePoster guidelines provide suggested layout, text sizes and fonts.

Time allocation:
Authors are allocated three (3) minutes to present. There is no allocated question and answer time. Authors might like to mention at the end of their presentation when they’ll be available to answer questions during break times in the HCI area near the ePoster screens.

Information for authors accepted for moderated ePoster prize sessions
The following information is for authors who have been confirmed as presenting in the following prize sessions:
- 2026 ASM ePoster prize session
Important: You must upload two separate files. In both cases, you should use the supplied templates.
- Your ePoster as a single slide only; and
- Your presentation (which may be several slides).
You will receive an email, in due course, with a link to upload your PowerPoint or Keynote files.
Time allocation:
Authors are allocated seven (7) minutes to present, with an additional three (3) minutes for Q&A time.
Authors accepted for moderated ePoster prize sessions can use as many slides as they wish in their presentation, however, they must include their ePoster as one slide and be conscious of their time allocation, which is advised within their acceptance letter. Please use the appropriate template and follow the guidelines. Please download the PowerPoint and Keynote presentation template and ePoster template from the presentation template gallery at the bottom of this page.

Information for Authors accepted for Moderated Prize session
The following information is for authors accepted to present in the below prize sessions, including:
- Gilbert Brown Prize
- ANZCA Trainee Research Prize
- ANZCA Trainee Quality Improvement Prize
- FPM Best Free Paper Award
- Open Science Prize
These sessions will be held during the ANZCA ASM, hosted in Auckland from Saturday 2 May – Monday 4 May 2026. Accepted authors will be required to present in-person as part of the meeting. If the meeting format is required to change from in-person to an online delivery, authors will be required to present online.
Authors accepted for moderated prize sessions can use as many slides as they wish in the presentation, however they must be conscious of their time allocation, which is advised within their acceptance letter. Please use the appropriate template and follow the guidelines.
Use of Artificial Intelligence (AI)
- Authors are required to disclose if Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies were used when preparing their abstract or presentation.
